The Ministry of Defence is inviting applications to fill up the post of Accountant in the Armed Forces Headquarters, New Delhi.

The number of post is 1 and the mode of recruitment is on deputation basis. The pay scale is Rs.9300-34800/- with grade pay Rs.4200/- (pre-revised pay scale: Rs.5500-9000/-).

Eligibility criteria:

A. 1.) Candidates must be Assistants of Central Secretariat Service and Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service holding the posts on regular basis OR UDCs of Central Secretariat Clerical Services and Armed Forces HQ Clerical Service with 8 years regular service in grade.

2.) Candidates must have undergone training in Cash and Accounts Course conducted by Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent & possesses an experience of 3 years in Cash, Accounts & Budget work.

OR

B. Officers under the Central Government:

a.) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis. Or

(ii) With 3 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.5000-150-8000 or equivalent. Or

(iii) With 8 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.4000-100-6000 or equivalent.

b.) Candidates must have undergone training in Cash and Accounts Course conducted by Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent & possesses an experience of 3 years in Cash, Accounts & Budget work. OR

A pass in the Subordinate Accounts Services conducted by any of the organized accounts department of the Central Government.
