Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Additional Director (Group-A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the Office if the Registrar General, New Delhi & Directorates of Census Operations, Government of India on deputation basis.

The scale of pay for the post is Rs.37400-67000/- with Rs.8700/-as Grade Pay (PB-4) and the number of post is 2.

Eligibility: The candidates must be Officers of the Central Govt holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or dept/with regular service of 5 years in PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- with Rs.7600/- as GP or equal/ with regular service of 11years in PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- with Rs.6600/- (GP) or equal in the parent cadre/Dept.

Educational qualifications & experiences:

(a) Post Graduate Degree of any reputed University in Statistics or Operations Research (with Stats) or Maths (with Stats) or Economics (with Stats) or Demography (with Stats) Sociology (with Stats) or Population studies (with Stats) or Anthropology (with Stats).

(b) Experience of 10 years in the field of compilation, tabulation, collection, Census analysis or Statistical Data.

The deputation period including ex-cadre post shall not exceed 2 years.

The maximum age limit for the post is 56 years.
