Applications are invited for the post of Adviser (Information & Communication Technology) in Planning Commission under Government of India on deputation/ promotion basis.

The PB is PB-4 of Rs.37400-67000/- + Rs.10000/- (GP) Or, HAG PB of Rs.67000-79000/-

Candidates must be officers of the Central/State Govt/Union Territory Administrations/Universities/Reputed Research Institutes/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Govt/Statutory/Autonomous Organisations/Non-Govt Bodies.

Eligibility: Departmental Joint Advisers (Promotion) in the PB of Rs.14300-400-18300/- plus regular service of 5 years.

Deputation:

a) Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis

b) With regular service of 3 years in the PB of Rs.16400-20000/- or equal

c) With regular service of 5 years in the PB of Rs.14300-18300/- or equal

d) Professors with regular service of 3 years in the PB of Rs.16400-22400/-(pre-revised)

Departmental Advisers (Promotion) in the PB of Rs.18400-500-22400/- with regular service of 5 years.

a) Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis

b) With regular service of 5 years in the PB of Rs.18400-22400/- or equal

Qualifications & experiences (applicable to all):

(i) MBA, M.Sc, M.Com under a reputed University or equal

(ii) Experience of 15 years in the PB of Rs.18400-500-22400/-(pre-revised)/ experience of 18 years in the PB of Rs.22400-525-24500/- or equal at Group ‘A’.

(iii) Knowledge of latest technologies in the field of

PhD in any of the above mentioned subjects/Post Graduate in Technology or Engineering is desired.

Age limit:

(Deputation including short-term contract) 56 years

(Direct Recruitment) 50 years. Relaxation for Govt employees for 5 years

Deputation period is 5 years.
