AFMC 2010 Medical
AFMC stands for Armed Forces Medical College. If you want to get a chance to study medical in the medical college maintained by the Armed Forces then you must clear the AFMC entrance test. The entrance test can be easily cracked with some proper planning and thorough preparation. Moreover the aspiring students are needed to possess a clear conception about the various topics included in the entrance test syllabi. The course conducted and maintained by the AFMC is Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S). You need not worry about the affiliation of the college or the medical degree obtained from the Armed Forces Medical College as the college is basically affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is recognized by the Medical Council of India.
In total there are 130 seats in the college. Among these 25 have been reserved for girls. So, as you can see from this figure the competition is quite fierce to get a seat in the AFMC as students from all over India try to crack the entrance exam.
The candidates should fulfill the following criteria for admission to MBBS course:
· Permanent citizenship of India.
· Unmarried and marriage not permissible during the course.
· Age limit is between 17-22
· 10+2 pass
· Final year students will be allowed to appear in a provisional manner.
· Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 60% aggregate in these and 50% in English.
