The All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examinations (AIEEE) is an entrance examination conducted in most of the engineering/architecture institutes across the country for admission into the engineering/architecture bachelor courses.

Applications for the AIEEE 2010 would be made available from the 1^st week December to 1^st week of January in many selected branches of the Syndicate bank, CBSE Regional Offices and certain institutions. Application forms can also be requested from the CBSE office by sending a request along with a demand draft. An advertisement will be notified in all leading dailies regarding the availability of the forms. Candidates can also apply online. They have to download the form, fill it and send it to the AIEEE office. The last date for the request of application form would be in the middle of December 2010 and the last date for the receipt of application form would be around January 2^nd week, 2011. Date of examination is towards the end of April, 2011. Results will be declared in the first week of June, 2011.

The candidate has to pas 12^th standard to be eligible to apply. An appearance or pass in 12^th during 2009, 2010 or 2011 is essential to appear for the AIEEE examination. Candidates who want to appear for the BTech/B.E entrance should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12^th and at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. Candidates appearing for the B.Arch or B. planning courses should have Mathematics in class 12^th with at least 50% aggregate. The candidates’ date of birth should be on or after 1^st October, 1986.

Admissions into all the National Institute of Technology (NITs) and most of other state level and private institutes occur through AIEEE.
