AIMCET 2010 MCA



AIMCET stands for All India MCA Common Entrance Test. This entrance test is conducted every year by a consortium of Indian institute of Technology or IITs. If you want to make out a career in the world of computers then you should aim for this entrance test to get admitted in the Masters in Computer Applications course in one of the topmost institute anywhere in India. The entrance test is known for its superb quality and scientific set-up. One needs to put a lot of hard work to pass this AIMCET. To become eligible to appear in the entrance test one must have passed his or her graduation from a recognized university or institution. Final year degree students are allowed to conditionally appear in the entrance test. Moreover the aspirants must have studied mathematics as a compulsory subject during their 10+2 studies from a recognized institution. In general one can apply till the end of April to appear in the entrance test.

The question paper of the entrance test is basically composed of four sections—mathematics, computer awareness, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. There will be 100 questions in the math segment and 20 questions in the general awareness segment. In the rest two segments there will be 40 questions each.
