AIMS 2010 Medical



The Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) conducts common entrance examination for undergraduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS and BAMS. The AIMS was established in 1998 and it was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The entrance exam is conducted in many centers across India. AIMS is well equipped with state-of-art infrastructure and facilities. The entrance exam is said to be tough and required much preparation.

A pass in 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 60% aggregate in PCB and 60% in English is considered essential for eligibility. The applying candidate should have crossed 17 years of age by 31st December, 2010 but should not be more than 23 years.

Application forms were available from the month of March in the admission office of AIMS and also in Dhanalakshmi Bank and South Indian Bank. Application forms can also be obtained through post by sending a demand draft along with requisition. Application forms can also be downloaded from the official website www.aimshospital.org

Forms were made available from the 1st week to 3rd week of April, 2010 and the last date for receipt of application would be in the 4th week of April, 2010. Exam will be conducted in the 3rd week of May, 2010. Finalized dates will be posted in the official website for AIMS.
