AIPGMEE stands for All India Post Graduate Medical / Dental Entrance Examination. If you want to go for higher studies after the Bachelor’s medical degree in any top-notch medical institute in India then you need to appear and successfully pass the AIPGMEE. The AIPGMEE is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The available courses include

Only Indian citizens are allowed to appear in the entrance test. To qualify to appear in the entrance test you need to complete your MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized institution with proper affiliation. Moreover you must have completed your internship period followed by the MBBS or BDS degree in order to appear in the entrance test. Students who are presently engaged in the internship period are also eligible to appear in the entrance test provided they can complete it before the admission or selection process begins after the declaration of the results of the entrance test. The application forms are generally made available in the month of September-October. The forms can be obtained either from the AIIMS campus or from some selected State Bank of India branches.
