All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test is a standardized entrance examination which is conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College. The College is renowned for its reputation and standards. Eligibility Criteria:

1) Only national Indian people are allowed to appear for the test.

2) Only MBBS degree holders are eligible to appear in the above mentioned masters courses.

3) The candidates are also required to have one year internship program completed.

4) Prospective candidates are also eligible to apply in case of continued internship program. But they are required to have a signed certificate from the dean or principal of their respective college.

Important Dates:

1) Last date of submitting forms: December (Exact dates will be published in press releases)

2) Last date of submitting forms (With late fees): Late December. (Exact dates will be published in press releases)

3) Commencement of Examination: January.

4) Result of examination: February.

5) Admission Counseling: March.

6) Session start: 2^nd week of April.

Examination Pattern:

1) The paper will be comprised of 300 MCQ questions.

2) Each question carries 1 mark making a total of 300 marks.

3) No negative marking at all.

4) MBBS level questions will be there in the entrance examination.

5) Almost all of the MBBS courses will be encompassed in the test.
