Amrita Vishwa Vidyappetham University 2010 MCA



The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University is one of the well sought universities which offer MCA courses for the MCA aspirants. It has good academic record and only students with high marks can apply to this institute. The institute offers MCA courses in various locations like Mysore, Coimbatore, Kochi and Amritapuri.

For eligibility the applying candidate should possess a valid bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute or university with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The graduation degree course must be of 3 years duration. Final year graduates can also apply.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyappetham University conducts an all India level Entrance exam for the students who want to take admission to MCA course. The institutes which offers MCA course under this University are located in Mysore, Coimbatore, Kochi and Amritapuri. The one with the good academic record and knowledge should only apply to theses institutes as it demands high percentage.

The institute conducts an entrance examination for admission to its MCA course and it is conducted in various cities across India. In Tamil Nadu it is conducted in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy and Salem. In Kerala it is conducted in Trivandrum, Amritapuri (Kollam), Alleppey, Calicut, Eranakulam and Trichur. In Karnataka it is conducted in Bangalore and Mysore. In Andhra Pradesh it is conducted in Hyderabad and Vijayawada.

The examination will be conducted on 9th May, 2010. The application for the entrance exam can be obtained by direct purchase or by post. For postal purchase the applicant has to send a requisition along with a demand draft for Rs.650/- in favor of ‘Amrita School of Engineering,’ payable at Coimbatore. For direct purchase the applications can be obtained from any Amrita School of Engineering and also from main branch of Dhanalaxmi Bank, Coimbatore. Alternatively application forms can be downloaded from www.amrita.edu also. Application forms were issued from 15th February, 2010 and the last date for submission of application forms was on 31st March, 2010.
