AMUCAT 2010 MBA
AMUCAT stands for Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test. If you want to study Management in the reputed Aligarh Muslim University then you must appear and score good marks in the AMUCAT. The selected candidates will enjoy the opportunity of choosing among the courses including MBA, MBA (International Business), MFC or MTA. The entire selection process comprises of the above mentioned entrance test, a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. The entrance test is comparatively easy compared to some other national level management entrance tests in the likes of CAT, MAT and XAT etc. But still one needs to spend some quality time preparing for the entrance. The application process for the entrance exam starts in the month of January-February and gets over by March. In order to appear in the entrance exam you need to at least possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Bachelors from any stream are welcome to apply for the courses or the entrance exam. Final year degree students are provisionally allowed to appear in the entrance exam. A minimum of 50% is required to appear in the entrance exam.
The test consists of basically sections like General Awareness, verbal ability, comprehension skills, numerical and data interpretation. As a whole, all these skills are tested in the examination and the candidate has to complete the whole exam in 3 hours.
