AMUPMDC 2010 Medical & Dental



AMUPMDC stands for Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges. This Association conducts a state level medical entrance test to admit the suitable students to the various medical courses conducted by the member institutes of this Association. The entrance test is popularly known as ASSOCET. Moreover various dental colleges are also covered under this entrance test. There are enough entrance test exam centers for the help of the students spread in the entire state of Maharashtra. One needn’t worry about the recognition of the courses as all the participating institutions under the Association are affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik.

The various courses to which the aspiring students can get admitted are Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Bachelor in Dental Surgery, BOTh, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, BPTh and BSC-Nursing.

In order to appear in the entrance examination and later study in any of the colleges one need to complete at least 10+2 final exams. Final year appearing students of this year are also eligible to apply. But their admissions will be on a provisional basis which will be finalized only after the result of the 10+2 finals. The candidates who’ve passed the exam must have studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects during 10+2 including English. A minimum percentage of 50% is required.
