Anna University is one of the apex institutes which have good reputation nationally and internationally. The Center for distance education of Anna University, offers MBA, MCA and M.Sc courses for the aspirants. The University conducts entrance examination for admission into these courses.

In the MBA category (2 years) it offers courses like General Management, Technology management, Retail management, Financial Services management, Human resources management and Health services management. It also offers a 3 year course on MCA and a 4 year M.Sc course in Information technology.

The candidates are required to have a graduation from a recognized university as eligibility for the Master courses. Final year candidates can also apply.

Application forms can be obtained by post from Anna University by payment of Rs.700/- through demand draft. Applications are also welcome through the website http://www.annauniv.edu/cde/ Application can also be obtained directly by cash payment or by payment of Rs.650/- as demand draft in favor of “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai” payable at Chennai, from any nationalized bank and it should be sent to the following address.

The commencement of issue of application will start towards the end of May, 2010 and the last date of requisition of applications by post will be around the 2^nd week of June, 2010. The last date for submission of application forms would be around the last week of June, 2010. Exams will be tentatively conducted in the 2^nd week of July, 2010.

Exams will be conducted mainly in Tamil Nadu state and in selected centers outside Tamil Nadu, online tests can be conducted. Students opting for online test are required to make extra payment.
