Office of the Registrar General under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India is inviting applications for filling up the post of Assistant Director Census Operations (Technical) (Group-A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) on deputation/promotion basis.

The PB for the post in pre-revised pay is of Rs.8000-275-13000/- & the revised pay of Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in PB-3. The number of post is 40 (census).

Eligibility:

The candidates must be Officers of the Central or State Govts:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the Dept or parent cadre. Or,

(ii) With regular service of 5 years in the post with PB of Rs.6500-10500/- or equal in the Dept or parent cadre.

(iii) With regular service of 8 years in the post with PB of Rs.5500-9000/- or equal in the Dept or parent cadre.

Educational qualifications & experiences:

(i) Post Graduate Degree in Operation Research/Statistics/Maths (with Statistics)/Commerce (with Stats)/Economics (with Stats)/Sociology/Anthropology from any reputed University/equal.

(ii) Experience of 3 years in tabulation, collection compilation & Statistical Data analysis.

Desirable:

(i) Post Graduate Degree with second Class in Operation Research/Statistics/Maths (with Statistics)/Commerce (with Stats)/Economics (with Stats)/Sociology/Anthropology from any reputed University/equal.

(ii) Same as (ii) above.

The deputation period shall not be exceeding 3 years.

The maximum age limit for all the post is 56 years.
