Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor, Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition



The Institute of Hotel management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition has invited applications from desired candidates for the post of Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor.

The number of posts is four (OBC-02, SC-01, PH-01) and the Pay band or scale will be PB-2 of Rs. 9,300-34,800 and Grade Pay of Rs.4, 200. Moreover the selected candidates will be entitled to the existing rates of various allowances likewise the other employees.

While applying for the post a candidate should remember the following points:

  • Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed his or her Bachelor’s degree or a three year Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized institution or from an institution affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management. A minimum percentage of 60% is required.

  • Experience: The applicants are required to have a minimum of three years of practical experience in hotel and catering industry. Or, two years of experience of teaching in an institution affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology or any other recognized institution.

  • Age limit: The upper age limit should not exceed 30 years (as on 31.10. 2009). The upper age limit is relaxed by five years for the SC candidates.
