Cantonment Board is a local body under the administrative control of Ministry of Defence. There are some vacancies in the Cantonment Board Primary Schools of

Barrack pore. Applications have been invited for filling up these vacant posts. The title of the post is Assistant Teacher (Hindi, Female) and the pay scale for the post will be Rs. 5400-25200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2600. The number of the posts is three (UR-2, SC-1). The age limit for the post is 25 years as on 01.12.09 and special relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC and Physically disabled candidates as per rules. The essential qualification to apply for the post is H.S. or equivalent with JBT or equivalent.

The application must have the details of the applicant. Moreover recent pass-port size colored photograph with two spare copies should also be pasted in the application. Attested copies of all necessary certificates such as proof of age, qualifications and Caste with a Bank Draft of Rs.200 (Rs. 100 for SC/ST/OBC candidates) on SBI, Barrackpore in favor of Cantonment Board, Barrackpore with a self addressed stamped envelope should be furnished. The physically disabled candidates of suitable category will be more preferred.
