Applications are being invited from Indian Citizens by Punjab & Sind Bank for appointing officers in MMGS-2 and MMGS-3.

The total number of posts is 60 in various disciplines.

There are 25 vacancies for the posts of Chartered Accountant and 30 for EDP Officer (MMG Scale 2). The Scale of Pay is 13820-19920 and the age limit is between 21 to 32 years.

And the vacancies for the post of EDP Officer (MMG Scale 3) are 5. The Scale of Pay will be 18240-22280 and here the age limit is between 21 to 35 years.

Reserved posts are there in different categories. In MMGS-2 8 posts for SC, 4 posts for ST, 15 for OBC and 28 for General. And in MMGS-3 1 post for SC, 1 for OBC and 3 for General.

The age relaxation for SC/ST, Ex-service commissioned Officers for officers serving in Regional Rural Banks and for the children/family members of those who died in 1984 riots is 5 years for OBC 3years and for physically challenged candidates it is 10 years.

Candidates applying for the post of Chartered Accountant shoul have passed in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Candidates having an experience of at least 2 years in Banking/Financial Institutions will be preferred.

And candidates applying for the post of EDP Officer should have a degree in Engineering in the field of Computer Science/ IT or MCA from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. Having an experience of 5 years in any Bank/Financial institutions will be preferred.
