The BLDE University conducts the Under Graduate Entrance Test or the UGET for admission into its MBBS course. The BLDE University is located in Bijapur, Karnataka and it is established in the year 1910. The BLDE University has a deemed university status and it is one of the apex universities for medical education in India. Nearly 75 colleges have associated with the BLDE University and provides education to the aspiring candidates.

The BLDE calls for students from all over India for admission into its MBBS course through UGET. There are nearly 150 seats in MBBS course for which admission is done through UGET. The entrance exam is conducted in various cities like Bijapur, Bangalore, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Indore Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ranchi, Jaipur, Vijayawada and Jammu.

For eligibility the applying candidate should have passed 12^th standard with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years by 31^st December, 2010.

The MBBS aspirants can download the application forms from the website www.bldeuniversity.org/ and they are required to send the completed application forms along with necessary documents and demand draft.

The exam will be conducted towards the end of May, 2010. Last date for download of application forms would be in the 1^st week of May, 2010. Last date for submission of application forms would be in the 2^nd week of May, 2010. Results will be declared in the 1^st week of June, 2010.

The question paper will be of 3 hours duration and will have 180 objective type questions from physics, chemistry and biology, each subject carrying 60 marks. The questions will be asked only form the 11^th and 12^th standard portions of Karnataka State Board syllabus and there will be no negative marking.
