CCSU 2010 B.Tech



The Ch. Charan Singh University or CCSU, Meerut is one of the top performing universities in India which is also popularly known as the Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology or the Meerut University. In 1991, the university celebrated its silver jubilee. It is established in 1966 to cater to the educational needs of Western Uttar Pradesh. It is approved by the AICTE and the Government of India. It has 5 faculties with 22 UGC sponsored courses and 35 job oriented and self financed courses for the benefit of the students. Nearly 252 colleges or institutes are affiliated to this university. It provides admissions to eligible candidates who have passed in UP state Entrance Exam 2010 (SEE) to B.Tech courses.

The university itself is spread across 222 acres of pollution free land with vast play grounds, gardens, Gymnasium, Indoor stadium, library, boys and girls’ hostels, administrative block, spacious auditorium, Guest house, community centre, medical centre, residential quarters, canteen, bank and post office. The departments have spaciously built buildings, state-of-art laboratories and advanced facilities for the students to exploit.

The university offers B.Tech courses in the field of Electronics and Communication, Electronics and instrumentation, Computer science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture engineering and chemical engineering.

The institute announces admission into various branches of engineering for the B.Tech courses and the application and prospectus can be downloaded from the official website. UTPU counseling will be scheduled around the 2nd week of July, 2010.
