CDAC 2010



The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a scientific society of the ministry of IT and Communications. C-DAC calls for admissions for the session 2010-2011. It offers full time advanced training program and the batch is about to begin in the month of August.

The courses offered in C-DAC are Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC), Wireless and mobile computing (WiMC), Healthcare Informatics (PGDHI), Advanced Computer Arts (Multimedia) (DACA), Geoinformatics, Information System and Cyber Security (DISCS), Very Large Scale Integration Design (DVLSI), Language Computing (DLC).

For the Advanced Computing, the candidate should have an engineering graduation, MCA, MCS, BCA or BCS. The WiMC course requires engineering graduation or science graduation in Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation and computer science. The PGDHI requires MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCh, BDS, MDS, B.Pharm, or MSc in life sciences, maths, chemistry, instrumentation or electronics. BE or ME, Biomedical Engineering, B.Sc engineering, MCA, MCS, MCS, MBA (systems), BCS, B.Sc (IT/CS), BCA, BIS, Bachelor in E-Commerce are also eligible for this course. Professionals with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Hospital, Insurance or clinical research organization are also eligible.

For the PG Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA) course the candidate should have a graduation in Arts, Advertising, Commercial Artist, Painting, Textile, Fashion, Designing or Interior decoration.

For DGi, engineering candidates or science post graduates with 2 years or relevant experience are eligible.

For PG Diploma in Information System and Cyber Security courses, ME or BE graduates and B.Sc (engg), MCA, MCS (after B.Sc), M.Sc (Electronics), M.Sc (Instrumentation), MCM (With B.Sc), MBA (Systems), BCS, B.Sc (IT), B.Sc (Computer Science), BCA, BIS are eligible.

For PG Diploma in DVLSI, the candidate should be an engineering graduate or science post graduate in Electronics, Instrumentation or Computer science.

For the PG Diploma in Language computing course the candidate should have a degree in B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., M.C.A., M.Sc. (Computer Science/ IT) or post graduation in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/ Language/ Literature.

Selection is based on CET exam marks. The CET exam application is available from 17th of February, 2010. In different states the exam dates differ it would be from April to June, 2010.
