CETPPMC is the Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Medical Colleges and it is conducted by the Pondicherry Linguistic & Religious Minority medical & Dental Colleges Welfare Association. It is conducted for admission into medical and dental courses hosted by three medical colleges in Pondicherry. The participating collages are Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital, Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research Centre and Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences.

For eligibility the applying candidate should have passed 12^th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects. A 50% aggregate in PCB (40% for the SC/ST and OBC) is considered essential. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age by 31^st of December, 2010.

Application forms are available in the association office and also in the member collages. Application forms can also be obtained by post by submitting a demand draft along with requisition. Application forms can also be downloaded from the websites www.pimsmmm.com, www.smcmch.com and www.svmcpondy.com.

Tentative dates for sale of application forms would be in the 3^rd week of May and date for receipt of filled application forms would be in the middle of June, 2010. Date of entrance examination would be towards the end of June, 2010. Counseling stars in the 4^th week of July, 2010.
