The Brahmaputra Board, Guwahati functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Water Resources is inviting applications to fill up the post of the Chairman of the board on deputation basis.

The number of post is 1 and the scale of pay is of PB-4 (Rs.37400-67000+Grade Pay Rs.12700/-).

The Chairman is the over all in-charge of the Board and is responsible for its efficient and smooth functioning.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Serving or retired officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.

1. Serving or retired officers under the State Governments/Union Territories/ Semi Government Organisations/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Organisations/ Engineering Universities/ Research & Development Organisations holding analogous posts.

1. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent and must have an experience in the field of Investigation, Planning, Design, Execution, Operation & Maintenance of Water Resources Development Projects, etc.

The maximum age for applying is 59 years.
