Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (General Duty-Pilot/Navigator) 2009
Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (General Duty-Pilot/Navigator) Coast Guard Attendant is conducted for the citizens of India who aspire to get recruited for the post of General Duty-Pilot/Navigator in the Coast guard department. The exam is conducted by Government of India twice in a year, 1st in month of January and second in month of July.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The age of the candidate applying must lie between 19 ? 27 years.
- The candidates under reserved category (SC/ST) are offered 5% relaxation in the age required.
- The candidate must have completed their Bachelor?s course from a recognized University.
- The candidate must have studied Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.
- In case of the female candidates, they must have passed their higher level education and must have obtained commercial Pilot license.
Physical Requirements:
For Male candidates:
- The height of the candidate must lie in between 162 ? 197 cm.
- The candidate must possess a minimum leg length of 99cm.
- The maximum allowable weight is 91kg.
- The candidate must possess a chest with minimum expansion of 5cm.
- The vision of the candidate must be 6/6 in both the eyes without glasses.
For Female candidates:
- The height of the candidate must lie in between 162.5 ? 197 cm.
- The candidate must possess a minimum leg length of 99cm and maximum of 120cm.
- The maximum allowable weight is 91kg.
- The vision of the candidate must be 6/6 in both the eyes without glasses.
Selection Criteria:
- All the eligible candidates must appear in the Entrance Exam.
- The candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the merit obtained by them in the Entrance Exam
- The short-listed students will then have to appear for interview which would be conducted by the Preliminary/Final Selection Board.
- The final selection list will be declared after the commencement of the Interview completes.
