Construction management

Construction Management and Project Management are two of the difficult tasks the architecture graduate to deal with. CEPT offers a post graduate program in Construction and Project Management to interested candidates. Architecture and Civil Engineering graduates are offered preference for admission into the post graduate program.

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Chennai.

Course: Masters in Building Technology and Construction Management.

Eligibility: The applying candidate should possess a valid GATE score and completed graduation from a recognized university.

Indian Institute of Technology IIT, Delhi

Course:
1. Masters in Building Science & Construction Management (in Collaboration with Larsen & Toubro)

Eligibility Criteria: 1. The applying candidate should possess above 97 percentile marks for appearing in the interview.

School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi

Course:
1. Master of Building Engineering & Management.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. For eligibility the applying candidate should possess Bachelor’s degree in civil, building, architectural engineering and architectural building science to be eligible for this course.
2. Candidates should also have valid GATE/NET scores for admission

National Institute of Construction Management and Research, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Pune.

Courses:
1. Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Construction Management (2 years)

Eligibility Criteria:
1. BE/B.Tech./MBA/MA in Social Science with a minimum of 55% marks mathematics upto 12th Std.
2. Work experience is preferred.

Other courses offered by the NICMAR:

Graduate Diploma Construction Management & Infrastructure Development (1 year at Delhi).
Graduate Diploma in Construction Safety Management (1 Year at Delhi & Hyderabad)
Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying (1 year at Hyderabad)

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Engineering degree from a recognized university is considered essential.
2. A Diploma of Technical Education is required for eligibility for admission into this course.
3. CA or any graduate working in construction industry is eligible for this course
