Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Contract Purchase Officer General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial, Department of Defence Production under Ministry of Defence, and Govt of India on deputation basis.

The number of post is 1 and the scale of pay is Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade pay of Rs.6600/- in PB-3. The maximum age limit of the candidate should not exceed 56 years and the maximum period of deputation shall not exceed 3 years.

The eligibility and recruitment method for the post is that the candidate must be an officer holding analogous posts of the Central or State Government or, with at least minimum service of 5 years in posts with the scale of pay of Rs.8000-275-13500/-(pre-revised) or identical. In addition to this the candidate should have an experience of contract and purchase procedures, problems of import trade and process for conceding help to built-up units in different forms for progress & construction of defence stuff.
