Corporation Bank PO Exam 2009



Corporation Bank is conducting entrance exam for recruiting candidates for the post of Probationary officer in the bank. The bank has been listed as one of the nationalized bank and is also a reputed one. There are total of 150 vacancies for the post for which the candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the bank.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must be an Indian national.
  • Candidate must have completed graduation from the recognized University
  • The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks as aggregate in the degree examinations.
  • Candidate must be more than 21 years of age and should not be more than 30 years of age.

Selection Criteria:

  • All the eligible candidates have to appear in Entrance Exam conducted by the Bank.
  • Written Examination will comprise of Objective and Descriptive question:
  1. Test of Reasoning Ability (TRA)
  2. Test of Quantitative Aptitude (TQA)
  3. Test of General Awareness on Socio- Economic Developments
  4. Test of English Language
  • Candidates have to pass in each of the Objective and Descriptive test separately
  • There will be negative marking scheme in the objective type test.
  • The Descriptive paper consists of 5 compulsory questions with internal options.

Important Dates:

  • Opening date for on-line registration: First week of May, 2009.
  • Closing Date for On-Line Registration (For all Applicants, including those from far-flung areas): Last week of May, 2009.
  • Last Date for Receipt of ?Print Out of the Computer Generated on-Line Application?: First week of May, 2009
  • Last Date for Receipt of ?Print out of the Computer Generated on-line Application? (Far-flung areas): Second week of June, 2009.
  • Date for Written Examination: Mid of July, 2009.
