Applications are invited for filling up the post of Deputy Adviser (Textiles) in Planning Commission, Government of India on deputation or promotion basis.

The PB is Rs.15600-39100/-with Rs.7600/- as GP (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.12000-375-16500/

Educational qualifications & experiences:

(i) Degree of Textile Technology from a reputed University/equal

(ii) Research/development/practical/design experience of 10 years or expansion programme scheduling/execution in the field of Textile industry.

Desirable:

(i) Post Graduate in Textile Technology

(ii) Knowledge in textile development problems & allied industries such as machinery, chemicals and so on.

(iii) Experience in comprehensive project reports or techno-economic assessment of probability studies.

Eligibility (Deputation):

(i) Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis

(ii) With regular service of 5 years in the grade in PB of Rs.10000-325-15200/- or equal in Central/State Govts. Or Universities or Public Undertakings or UT Administrations or Reputed Research Institutes

(iii) With the above mentioned educational qualifications & experiences.

Eligibility (Promotion):

(i) Senior Research Officer (Planning Commission)

(ii) With regular service of 5 years in the post.

The age limit is 56 years.

The deputation tenure is 4 years (maximum)
