Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Director (Electronics) (Group-A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships under the Ministry of Shipping (Govt of India) on transfer/deputation basis.

The PB in the pre-revised scale is Rs.10000-15200/- {Rs.15600-39100 with Rs.6600/- (GP) (revised pay) PB-3}. The number of post is 1.

Essentials:

(i) The candidates must possess a Degree in Electronics or Telecommunication or Engineering in Electronics & Communication under any of the reputed University or equal.

(ii) With experience of 5 years in the position of supervisory in the field of wireless with maintenance & installation of wireless transmitters’ receivers & automatic relay system, transmission, generation & supply of power along with experience in power plants installation.

Desirable: Experience in maintenance, general administration & Lighthouses operation & other supports for navigation of marine.

Eligibility: Officers of the Central or State Govts/ Port Trusts/UT/Public Sector Undertakings.

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis. Or,

(ii) With regular service of 5 years in the post in the PB of Rs.8000-13500/- or equal in the dept/parent cadre.

The deputation period shall not be exceeding 3 years.

The maximum age limit is 56 years.
