The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training (Government of India) is inviting application to fill up the post of Deputy Director (Management Services).

The number of post is 1 and the scale of pay is PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-.

The period of deputation is 5 years.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be Officers under the Central/State Government or Union Territories or Public Undertakings etc.

a.) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department

b.) with 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment in the scale of pay of Rs.8000-13500/- or equivalent

c.) with 8 years service in the grade rendered after appointment in the scale of pay of Rs.6500-10500/- or equivalent.

Essential qualifications & experiences:

a.) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

b.) Successful training and management or equivalent in a Government recognized Institution.

Desirable:

a.) Specialization in any of the following areas, viz. Management Information Systems, PERT/CPM, Management Statistics.

b.) Experience of Teaching Management Service/Public Administration in a recognized University or a Central/State Government Training Institute.

c.) Experience as Junior/Senior Analyst in the Internal Work Study Unit/Management Services Unit of a Ministry/ Department/Office.

The age limit is maximum 56 years.
