Deputy Director, Ministry of Personnel, Department of Personnel and Training



The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training (Government of India) is inviting application to fill up the post of Deputy Director (Office Management).

The number of posts is 2 and the scale of is PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- + grade Pay of Rs.6600/-.

The period of deputation is 5 years.

Eligibility: Candidates must be

a.) Grade I Officers of the Central Secretariat Service; or

b.) Defence Service Officers with 5 years service; or

c.) Officers of the Central Services’ Group ‘A’ with 5 years service as such.

Essential qualifications and experiences:

a.) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent;

b.) Knowledge of Secretariat practices, procedure and precedents

c.) Knowledge of Establishment, Administrative and Financial Rules and regulations of the government.

Desirable:

a.) Masters’ Degree from a recognized University or equivalent;

b.) Teaching experience/organizing training programmes;

c.) Specialized knowledge of any one or more of the following subjects:

i.) Behavioural Science

ii.) Decision making

iii.) Management Information System

iv.) Elementary Statistics

v.) Performance Budgeting

The maximum age should not exceed 56 years.
