Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Deputy Director (Technical) (Social Survey) in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Govt of India on deputation basis.

The scale of pay for the post in the pre-revised pay is of Rs.10000-325-15200/- and the number of post is 1.

Eligibility:

The candidates must be officers of the Central or State Govt. or Union Territories Govt:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or

(ii) With regular service of 5 years in the post in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.8000-13500/-; or

(iii) With regular service of 8 years in the post in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.6500-10500/-

Along with the below mentioned qualifications:

(i) The candidates must have passed Post Graduate Degree in Psychology or Social Work or Anthropology or Sociology with Social Anthropology as specialisation under any reputed University or equal.

Desirable: Post Graduate Degree in non-formal education or social problem or community development or service of community health in urban area.

The tenure of deputation shall not be exceeding 3 years.

The maximum limit of age shall not exceed 56 years.
