Applications are invited by NHAI under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for filling up the post of Deputy General Manager (Environment), (Group ‘A’) on deputation basis:

The scale of pay for the post is Rs.15600-39100/- with Rs.7600/- as GP.

Deputy General Manager (Environment): The classification of post is Group ‘A’ and the number of post is one.

Educational qualification: B.Sc in any one of the subjects like Botany, Geology, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Chemistry, Zoology, Statistics, Maths, Physics or Graduate in Agriculture, Forestry or Engineering of a reputed University.

Desirable: PG/Diploma in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering/Bio-Science from a reputed University/Institute.

Essentials: Officers of Central/State Govt/Union Territories/Universities/Renowned Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Govt/Statutory /Autonomous Organisations & other Govt Bodies.

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the PB-3 of Rs. 15600-39100/- with Rs.7600/- (GP).

(ii) With regular service of 3 years in PB-3 of Rs. 15600-39100/- with Rs.6600/- (GP).

(iii) With an experience of 9 years in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering in Govt deptt.

The deputation period is 3 years but is likely to be extended.

The maximum age limit from each post is 56 years.
