Applications are invited for the post of Director in National Civil Defence College, Nagpur under Ministry of Home Affairs on deputation/promotion basis.

The pay scale for the post is PB-3(Rs.15600-39100) plus grade pay of Rs.7600 (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.12000-325-16500).

1. Essential qualification for the post is given below: The candidate should be an officer under Central/State Government/UT-Administrations or Air Forces Commissioned Officers holding analogous post on regular basis in the present cadre /department or, the candidate should have 5 years’ service on regular basis in the grade with the pay scale of Rs.10000-325-15200 subsequent to PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 in the company of Rs.6600 or equivalent as a grade pay in the department/ present cadre.

2. Eduactional qualification: The candidate should possess Bachelor’s Degree from any of the recognised University or equivalent with an experience of 5 years in Civil Defence/NCC.

3. Desirable: 2 years experience of teaching or instruction in a renowned training institute.

The departmental Deputy Director with the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.10000-325-15200 with regular service of 5 years in the grade shall be considered as well. However, the departmental officers in the category of feeder cannot be selected on deputation.
