The National Institute of Biologicals, an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Health & F.W. is a leading scientific organization. It is a centre of excellence to guarantee quality of vaccines and biologicals in the country.

The institute is inviting applications to fill up the post of Director as per details below:

The mode of recruitment will be direct and the pay scale is in the Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000) and GP of Rs.12000/- + NPA for Medical Personnel.

The preferable age is below 50 years.

Qualifications:

Medical: Candidates must possess

a.) PG Medical degree in the field of Microbiology/Bacteriology/ Serology/Virology/Haematology or allied biological sciences, OR

b.) Ph.D in any of the related fields.

Non-Medical: Candidates must possess

a.) M.Sc in Microbiology/ Bacteriology/ Physiology/ Bio-Chemistry or allied biological sciences.

b.) Ph.D in any of the related fields.

Candidates must have 20 years standing in the profession, 15 years experience in research, training, manufacturing and quality control of biologicals and extensive administrative experience.

The tenure of the appointment will be for 5 years not extending the age of 60 years.
