Applications are invited by Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to fill up the post of the Director by deputation/contract for 5 years or up to the date of retirement, in the National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata.

The number of post is 1 and the scale of pay is Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs.10000 + NPA.

The maximum age limit should not exceed 55 years. For persons who are in the service of the Institute the upper age limit is not applicable.

Eligibility required:

1.) Post Graduate in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.

2.) Should be in the profession for 20 years of which minimum 3 years regular service in Professor Grade or 8 years combined experience in Post Graduate teaching in the grade of Professor/Associate Professor/Reader or Research and Administration in Central/State Govt./Autonomous Body/ Statutory Organization/Recognized Research Councils/ Universities.

Desirable qualifications:

1.) High quality academic publication or Published Research Work in peer reviewed research journals.

2.) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Hospital Administration/Health Care Management.
