The Delhi University Medical-Dental Admission test or DUMAT is conducted by the University of Delhi for admission of students into medical and dental courses MBBS and BDS. The exam is conducted in various colleges located in Delhi like the Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences.

Courses offered are Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS).

For eligibility the applying candidate should have passed 12^th standard from a recognized board or equivalent and should have studied subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and English. The required percentage in PCB is 50 and for reserved category candidates it is 40%. The school from which they have passed their 12^th standard should be located in Delhi only. Female candidates of SC/ST, widows and wives of Armed and Para military personnel (CWWAPP) can also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College.

The exam will be held on Sunday 23^rd of May, 2010 at Delhi only. Application can be obtained from the Office of Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. Sale of application forms started from 25^th of January, 2010. Cost of application forms would be Rs.750/- (Rs.800/- by post) for General and OBC category and Rs.550/- (Rs.600/- by post) for the SC/ST/PH category. No cash payment will be accepted. All payments have to be made through a demand draft taken in favor of ‘Assistant Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi. Applications can also be downloaded from www.du.ac.in or www.fmsc.ac.in and should be submitted with the demand draft before 8^th of March, 2010.
