Study and Training

Engineering and Technology courses are always ranked high by the engineering aspirants all over India. Engineering courses are of 4 year duration and upon completion, there are generous offers in the public sector, defense, manufacturing units, and sales and marketing. Post graduation is essential for those who aspire for research and development or teaching or consultancy jobs. Interested candidates have to pass through Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) exam for entrance into Post graduate programs.

Eligibility

For eligibility, the applying candidate should have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 60% in Physics and Mathematics from a recognized Board. They also have to pass through admission entrance exams conducted by the admitting institutes.

Post 12th standard, candidates may choose to acquire technician’s qualifications through a 3 year diploma courses offered by the Technology Training Institutions.

BSc Electronics course is offered by several universities and students can pursue MSc Electronics & Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telematics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Power, Electronics & Electrical Communication, Electronics & Information Electronics & Power etc.

Employment Avenues

Engineers are of great demand in companies that deal with consumer, aircraft or broadcast electronics, hospital and medical equipments, satellite, computers, marine navigation, audiovisual test and farm machinery.

Work Environment

Various industries employ Electronic engineers and the work environment will differ according to the place and the type of work. If they take up research based jobs then they have to work in laboratories. Sales and marketing jobs require traveling and dealing with market research personnel, agents and users. Manufacturing industries, research and services units employ engineers and they may have to work in industrial setup.

    Please advice the college recognized by the Govt. of India.

    i want to study electronics & telecommunication in diploma is it the rite desigen and now i am pass out from class 10th also tell me about the course, how much it is easy and difficult and after complete diploma how much i can earn salary.(sir please tell me about it in very clear)
