Executive Secretary, Indian National Science Academy



There are some vacancies in the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). Indian National Science Academy is an apex organization of scientists, engaged in promotion and recognition of excellence in science in the country. Applications have been invited from the dynamic, initiative driven and performance oriented persons to fill up one position of Executive Secretary.

The essential qualification required for the position is Master’s Degree in Science/Technology with minimum 15 years experience of management & coordination of S&T related programs including international. The applicant should have expertise in coordination work associated with professional societies, academies, activities and overall scientific community in the country and exposure in management of human and financial resources. The candidates with Ph.D Degree in Science/Technology will be preferred more.

The selected candidate will be the Head of the INSA Secretariat and responsible for day to day operation and implementation of decisions taken by the Committees, Board, and the Council of the academy.

The Pay Scale will be of Rs.37400-67000+8900 (GP) with DA, HRA and other benefits. The lower age limit to apply for the post is 50 years. The Govt./ Semi Govt./Public Sector undertaking workers should apply through proper channel. Recently retired/retiring persons also may apply for the post.
