FMS 2010 MBA



The FMS or the Faculty Management Studies, University of Delhi is conducting entrance exam for its MBA and MBA (MS) programs. FMS – DU was started in the year 1954 and it is one of the apex institutes for management studies in the country. It is one of the top institutes that continuously appear in the top ten management institutes of the country. There will be tough competition among the students to claim the course.

FMS has tie-ups with many global universities like the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and University of Trinidad. FMS is located in the North Campus of the University of Delhi and it also owns a premise in the South Campus.

For eligibility the applying candidate should have completed 3 year bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university. The minimum percentage in graduation in their field of education is mentioned below.

For Medicine and Engineering & Technology, the CGPA of 6 on 10 or 60% is essential for eligibility. For Science graduation, 55% is essential. For Commerce, Arts and Social Sciences 50% is considered essential. For Statistics or Mathematics, 60% is required. If the candidate has post graduation degree, 60% marks is essential. Besides the marks, the candidate should have completed 20 years of age as on 1st of October, 2010. There will be 5% reduction in minimum requirement of percentage if the candidate belongs to the reserved category.

Application forms are released in the 3rd week of October, 2009. The entrance exam was conducted in the 2nd week of January, 2010. Personal Interview and Group Discussion was conducted between March and April, 2010.

There are 144 seats for the MBA course and 64 seats for the MBA (MS) course.
