General Nursing & Midwifery Residential Course, Municipal Corporation of Delhi



The Nursing School Kasturba Hospital, under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is inviting applications from female Candidates for three and half years General Nursing & midwifery residential course.

The number of seats is 21.

The age of the candidates must be 17 to 22 years as on July 31.07.2010. As per rules relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Education Required:

a.) Candidates must have passed examination of 10+2/SSC or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all five subjects from a recognized board/university.

b.) Candidates who have successfully completed A.N.M course with minimum aggregate of 50% in 10+2 having vocational subject from Indian Nursing Council recognized school can also apply.

c.) Candidates awaiting results may also apply but 10+2 class result will be the basis of selection to G.N.M Course.

d.) Regular students from science stream will be given preference.

An entrance test will be held in the last week of June/ 1st week of July 2010. Admissions will be based on the results of the entrance test.
