Government Law College GLC 2010 LLB



Government Law College (GLC) admits the candidates only after crossing an admission process conducted by the college. The college offers five year LL.B. programs. Admission to this college is awarded on the basis of merit of 12th class marks.

Government Law College holds it distinct importance because of having Lokmanaya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Chief Justice M. C. Chagla and myriad other figures as its historical heritage.

The Government Law College is located in Church gate area of Mumbai.

Eligibility criteria for GLC:

· Candidates should obtain 45% aggregate marks in class 12th of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and HSC exams.

· Those candidates who acquired less than 45% but more than 40% are supposed to appear for entrance exam.

· Candidates from other boards need 5% extra marks.

Admission procedure:

First of all, a list is prepared for the candidates who meet the merit and after that interview is organized for such candidates. Interview is only taken for confirming the details of candidates. Otherwise the main criterion for admission is merit of class 12th (HSC) of Maharashtra State Board.

Seats Reservation:

50% of total seats are granted for Maharashtra. The reservation is done in three categories, namely, general categories (Maharashtra), reserved categories (Maharashtra) and general categories (other states).
