Haryana PMT 2010 Medical



If you want to get into one of the prestigious medical colleges and institutions in the state of Haryana then you must appear in the PMT or pre-medical test. This is a state level entrance test and any student passing the 10+2 exams can take apart in it. If you are appearing in the final year exams this year then too you’re eligible to appear in the medical entrance test. If you become successful to clear the entrance examination then you’ll be given chance to get admitted in a medical institution on a provisional basis. You need not worry for the validity of the medical courses and colleges as all the participating medical colleges are affiliated to the Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

During your 10+2 studies you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as compulsory subjects in order to become qualified to appear in the Haryana PMT. Passing marks in English is mandatory and in the Physics, Biology and Chemistry combination you must have obtained a minimum percentage of 50%.

The available courses in the various participating medical colleges in the pre-medical test include

· Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)

· Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and

· Bachelor in Dental Surgery

In general the application process starts in the month of May and the admissions get over by July-August. For further details on the exam pattern, age and exam center etc. you can refer to the website www.mdurohtak.com
