HP CPMT 2010 Medical



The Himachal Pradesh University is conducting the Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test for the benefit of the medical aspirants to join the MBBS or BDS course. The exam is conducted for admission into various government and private medical and dental colleges in the state.

The courses offered are MBBS and BDS.

For eligibility, the candidate is required to have passed 12th standard or equivalent form a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects. The candidate is required to have 50% aggregate in PCM and for SC/ST the required aggregate is 40%. Selection is based on Combined Pre – Medical Entrance Test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. The exam pattern is well detailed in the official website and reservation for the appropriate candidate is based on Government norms. Application forms can be obtained by direct cash payment from the admission office of Himachal Pradesh University or it can also be obtained by post by placing a request and demand draft in favor of ‘Finance Officer, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla University Registrar Office.’ The official website also hosts the application forms which can be downloaded.

The sale of application forms starts from 5th April, 2010 to 30th April, 2010 and the last date for receipt of completed application forms is 31st May, 2010. Exam will be conducted towards the end of May and the results will be declared in Mid June.
