IAF Airmen Examination Technical/Non-Technical Trades 2010



Indian Air Force admits only male candidates who are interested in making their career in Defense. The selection of the candidates in Airman Examination Technical/Non-Technical Trades is made on clearing government recognized exam. The admission is granted for two times a year i.e. one in the month of January and the other chance is given in the month of July.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate should have cleared 12th class from a recognized board and should have scored minimum of 60% aggregate marks in it. The candidates should have Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects in 12th class. The age of the applying candidate should not exceed 20 years. The candidate should have completed Diploma from a reputed university.

Physical Requirements:

The candidate should have a broad chest of about 75 cms with an expansion of about 5cms. The candidate who is applying for the course must have height of about 152.5 cms. The eyesight should be 6/12 in each eye with glasses for technical traders.

Paper Pattern:

The candidates applying for technical trade category will also have to face Mathematics and Science test. The paper consists of questions relevant to English, Intelligence and General Awareness.
