Indian Air Force Permanent Commission Engineering conducts an entrance exam for giving admission to the students with Engineering background who are willing to do something in technical branch officers of the Standing Committee. The committee is recognized by the Government of India and choose the students on the basis of merit obtained by them in the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applying examinee should be having an age between 18-28 years. The student should have attained a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university. The candidate must have scored 55% aggregate marks in the relevant degree. The interested candidate should be unmarried and physically and medically fit. The candidate should have obtained degree of graduation in any of the following:

1. B.Tech in Radio Physics and Electronics

2. M.Sc. Physics with Electronics

3. Engineering Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical/Electrical Communication/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Engineering

4. M.Sc. Electronics

5. AMIE

6. B.Sc. (PCM)

Selection Process:

The entitled candidates have to appear for Initial Screening Test called Engineering Knowledge Test. This test is organized by Air Force Department. After screening test, the candidate is shortlisted on the merit obtained in it. As soon as the candidates are shortlisted, then they have to face Group discussion and Interview. Finally, the candidate is selected on the basis of their combined performance in all above faculties.
