ICICI Bank PO Exam 2009



ICICI Bank is conducting Entrance Exam for the recruitment of the candidates on the post of Probationary Officer. All the eligible candidates must appear in the written test, which will be followed by interview for the successful candidates. Last date to register for the exam is 31st Dec, 2008 and no other means of selection is there for the prescribed post.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The age of the candidate should be less than 25 years.
  • The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor?s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks as aggregate in the degree examinations.

Selection Procedure:

  • All the eligible candidates have to appear in the written Aptitude test which will be conducted by the Bank.
  • The candidates will be short-listed and then will be called for Group process and profiling.
  • At last, the candidates have to appear in Personal Interview.
  • The final selection list will be declared after the commencement of the PI completes.

The candidates selected will have to undergo a one year intensive residential classroom training and internship in the following areas:

  • Corporate Banking
  • Private Banking
  • Risk and Credit Management
  • Treasury
  • Branch Management
  • Relationship Management

NOTE: The training of the candidate can be held in Bangalore or at any other location in India as decided by Bank. During the commencement of training, the candidate will be offered stipend by the Bank to meet their living and other personal expenses. After the successful completion of training, they will be recruited as Assistant Manager.
