IIFT (IB) 2010 MBA



IIFT stands for Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. The IB stands for International Business. The IIFT was established in the year 1963. The institute was established with direct government help and support. But since the inception the institute has been functioning as an autonomous educational body. The various courses which can be studied in the IIFT are

· Two-year MBA (International Business), New Delhi, Kolkata, and Dar-es-Salaam

· Executive Masters in International Business, New Delhi

· Three-year MBA (International Business) (Part-Time), New Delhi and Kolkata

· Certificate Programme in Export Management, New Delhi

A written test is conducted to select the eligible students for admission into the various courses. If you are interested in the MBA course in International Business then you will have two options-the part-time course and the full-time course. For the full-time course you need to possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university of minimum three years of duration. There is no age limit. Final year students are also eligible to apply for the course. Along with Indian nationals foreign nationals are also allowed to apply for the course. Indian candidates are selected through a written test, GD and PI. The application process starts in the second week of July. You can get hold of the proceedings at www.iift.edu

For the part-time MBA the application process starts in the month of February and the eligibility conditions are same as the full-time MBA programme. GD, essay writing and PI are used to select candidates for the part-time MBA programme.
