Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates opting for this PhD courses requires different eligibility for different courses:

1. For PhD in Science:

· The candidate should have Degree of Master in Science from a reputed University.

· The candidate must have attained 60% marks in the degree.

· The candidates who have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Design from IIT are also eligible.

2. For PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences:

· The candidates should have Degree of Master in Arts, Commerce, Science from a reputed University.

· The candidate must have scored 55% aggregate marks in the above mentioned degrees.

· The candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Design from IIT.

3. For PhD in Engineering:

• The candidate should have Degree of Master in any of Engineering, Technology, Medical Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Pharmacy from a recognized University.
• The candidate must have scored 60% marks in the degree.
• The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Medical Sciences and should have 70% marks.

For Ph.D. in Design:

• The candidates should have Degree of Master in M.Des. or M.Tech., M.E., Applied Arts, Ergonomics, Fine Arts, Psychology, Physiology.
• The candidates must have scored 60% marks as aggregate in the relevant degree.
• The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree from IIT with 70% aggregate marks.
