The Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi Department of Management Studies (IITD – DMS) is offering MBA program and is conducting admission process every year from 1997. IIT Delhi is one of the apex institutions for engineering education in India since its establishment 40 years ago. The credibility of IIT Delhi is beyond question and the same applies to IITDelhi-DMS. It is one of the top institutes for business education in India.

The candidates have to pass through JMET 2010 (Joint Management Entrance Test) for admission to its full time 2 year MBA program. The students who successfully cleared the JMET are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The courses offered by IITD-DMS are Management systems (86 seats) and Telecommunication Systems Management (29 seats).

For eligibility the candidate should have a bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology/ / Pharmacy Architecture / B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering or Master’s degree in any branch of Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Master’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics with atleast 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. The reserved category candidates will enjoy a 5% relaxation in the qualifying degree marks.

Application forms can be obtained by post by sending a requisition to IITD – DMS. The candidates are required to fill the application forms and send it with a demand draft in favor of ‘IIT Delhi’ for Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for the SC/ST/PH). Applications can also be downloaded from the website www.iitd.ac.in/

Application forms were released from 5^th of January, 2010 and the last date for submission of completed application forms was on 29^th January, 2010. Candidates were called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview for 26 to 29 March, 2010.
