The International Management Institute or IMI offers a PGDM program and it is accredited and approved by the AICTE. IMI has developed a contemporary program through its international alliances, concentrating on the core management areas and offers it with regular updates. The PGDM course aims at preparing the candidates to develop conceptual and analytical skills and apply it over business environment across borders. The IMI aspires to select candidates with a vision to develop strong business potential in the upcoming years. The selection is therefore very rigorous and highly competitive.

A Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate under the 10+2+3 system from recognized university is essential.

Application for the course can be obtained by paying Rs.1500/- for 1 program and Rs.2000/- for 2 programs through either cash payment at IMI or by post by submitting a demand draft in favor of IMI payable at Delhi. The student can also apply online through the official website www.imi.edu/ after September 9^th till November 27^th, 2009. Fresh dates for this year will be declared later.

The applying candidates have to appear for CAT. IMI will collect test scores from the conducting authority for those candidates who have applied in CAT and IMI for the 2 year PGDM and PGDM-HR. IMI uses CAT scores as the sole selection criterion for selection of candidates. Abroad students should take the GMAT and the minimum required score would be above 600 marks. Group Discussion and Personal Interview will follow and the students’ writing skills will also be evaluated. The objective is to test the candidate’s communication ability and his or her overall knowledge. The selection process will take place in many centers like Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Jaipur, Trivandrum & Hyderabad. Results will be declared on April 2010 for this year.
